All Lehigh alumni know that the university was founded by Asa Packer in 1865 - but did you know that it was Bishop William Bacon Stevens that actually did the work of creating Lehigh University? In a very real sense, Bishop Stevens is a true "Father of Lehigh". One of the goals of Lehigh Christian Alumni is to make Bishop Stevens' works available to our alumni and the general public. We will periodically be posting the Bishop's works on this page, starting with a collection of his sermons.
